Astronomical observatories have become important educational spaces that help the public understand astronomy through visual communication. Static infographics are commonly used to simplify complex astronomical information, yet their effectiveness has received limited attention in Malaysian observatories. This study analyses five selected static infographics at Balai Cerap Selangor by focusing on typography, layout, colour, imagery, and information delivery. The findings suggest that although the infographics successfully communicate astronomical information, improvements are needed in readability, visual hierarchy, and information organisation to enhance visitor understanding and accessibility. Overall, this research highlights the importance of effective infographic design in strengthening science communication and improving educational experiences at astronomical observatories.
